CHARISMA

From my hands to your home.

A self-taught sculptor and ceramist; Charisma Roselle hopes to continue to connect with traditional, indigenous pottery techniques, while exploring new ways to interact with mixed mediums. As a direct descendent of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, it is a priority to preserve as much of the culture and language as possible. Interacting with clay or the Earth in this manner is very sacred. Charisma takes pride in the fact that though there are animal products used in noted creations, there are no harsh chemicals or heavy machinery used in creating these pieces from the moment the clay is sourced. Everything is done by hand, even firings.

The sculptures are individually created without molds. They consist of a variety of Indigenous motifs, portrait works, hyperrealism and revamped animated characters. Materials used in works of varying mediums include but are not limited to resin, plaster, apoxie & polymer clay.
